Hole 1

“A Gentle Start”
380 Yard Par 4 from the yellow tee, out of bounds down the left.  Stay between the two rocks and over the slope.  Bunkers on the front left and back right of the undulating green.

2

HOLE 2

“Road Side”

Out of bounds all the way down the left hand side of this hole and trouble to the right.  A small but well placed bunker should be avoided.

3

HOLE 3

“Little Pond”

A short Par 3 downhill all the way.  Water hazard to the left of the green and slope to the right of the green, looks easy but be careful.

4

HOLE 4

“Slow Dog Leg”

458 yard Par 5, gentle dog leg left to right with a wide fairway.  Second shot over a ditch to a tight green.  A good birdie opportunity.

5

HOLE 5

“Signature Hole”

An imposing hole from the medal tee, a good drive is essential before a firmly struck second shot over the ravine to the green.  Out of bounds on the right of the green, a par is an excellent score on this hole.

6

HOLE 6

“Not Far”

200 yard Par 3.  Large bunker at the front of the green means you will need to carry your tee shot all the way.  Green surrounded by grass banking at the rear.

7

HOLE 7

“The Moat”

A generous fairway from the tee,  but some trouble to the right.  Approach to the green is across public footpath, try not to go left otherwise your in the moat!

8

HOLE 8

“River View”

Long par 4 with out of bounds along the right and a well positioned fairway bunker to the left.  Strong drive required to leave a mid iron into the green.  Try not to overshoot the green as it is out of bounds behind the green.

9

HOLE 9

“Big Slope”

Par 3 with green guarded by 4 bunkers.  Green slopes right to left, be careful not to leave yourself a downhill putt.

10

HOLE 10

“Barrack Hill”

Dog left right to left and fairway sloping towards the rough.  Stay to the right side of the fairway for best approach into the tricky green.

11

HOLE 11

“Catch-up”

A good hole to make up lost shots.  A short par 4 with a generous fairway, but a tricky approach to a narrow 3 tier green.  Make sure you note whether the pin is at the front or back of the green.

12

HOLE 12

“Moat Attack”

Par 4 Stroke Index 5.  A good drive required then a mid iron approach to the green.  No bunkers on this hole, but it is not as easy as it looks.

13

HOLE 13

“Energy River”

Views of energy either side of the river, Par 5 with the ditch coming into play off the medal tee.  Difficult approach to the green with slope from right to left and 3 deep bunkers on the left of the green.

14

HOLE 14

“Pump House”

Picturesque par 3, depending on the wind direction could be a 4 iron or a wedge.  Hit the green or you will have an interesting chip shot!

15

HOLE 15

“Lonesome Tree”

Stroke Index 1, Sloping fairway from left to right, ideal if you can hit a slight draw.  Head just left of the lonesome tree with your second shot.  Small bunker at the front right of the green.

16

HOLE 16

“Badgers Set”

Short par 4, do you risk the driver?  Should be a simple hole but this hole has wrecked many cards due to the narrow green approach.

17

HOLE 17

“Homeward Bound”

Drive to a generous fairway but avoid the bunker on the left.  Mid iron second to the green, look for the fire tower in the distance, 2 tier green with a big slope right to left.

18

HOLE 18

“Home Hole”

Sharp Dog leg left to right.  Driver to the fairway but beware of out of bounds on the right and try to clear the tree on the right of the fairway.  Uphill approach to the green with the Captains bunker on the right side.
